Scope

This privacy notice applies to the Accelari and IP Formalities websites operated by Accelari GmbH at:

• accelari.com
• ip-formalities.com

It covers visits to these sites and the contact options they provide. Linked software services, including TrademarkIQ, have their own privacy notices.

This notice also applies to the corresponding preview addresses accelari-design-demo.vercel.app and ip-formalities-design-demo.vercel.app.

Cookies and embedded content

We do not embed analytics, tracking or advertising services on these sites and do not set cookies ourselves. Images and fonts are served with each website. No external maps, videos or messengers are embedded. The selected language is determined by the page address; we do not use cookies for this.

Hosting and access data

The websites are served by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes technical access data, including IP address, time, requested page, browser and device information, for delivery, troubleshooting and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is reliable and secure website operation.

Processing in the US is possible. Vercel states that it participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details about processing, certification and other transfer safeguards are available in the Vercel Privacy Notice.

Contact by email or telephone

When you contact us, we process the information you provide, including your name, contact details, message and any attachments, to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries, based on our interest in responding.

We use IONOS SE, Germany, to receive email. As part of the ongoing migration of the Accelari mailbox, Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online is also used to transfer and manage existing email records (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland). This includes message content and attachments. Provider information: IONOS privacy information and Microsoft Privacy Statement. Microsoft may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the US. Microsoft describes safeguards including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.

Providing your information is voluntary. Without the contact details needed to respond, we may be unable to deal with your enquiry.

WhatsApp on IP Formalities

IP Formalities also provides an ordinary link to WhatsApp. Merely visiting our pages does not establish a connection to WhatsApp. Opening the link loads WhatsApp, which may then process technical data. If you send us a message there, we receive the contact details and messages you provide.

The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Ireland. WhatsApp and its service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Information about processing and transfer safeguards is available in the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. The legal bases described above apply to our handling of your enquiry. Using WhatsApp is optional; you can also contact us by email or telephone.

Retention

We retain enquiry and contact data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, where applicable, perform the contract. Where statutory retention requirements apply, or data is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, it is retained for those purposes and then deleted.

Retention of technical access data depends on its operational and security purpose and the hosting provider’s retention rules. Its criteria are described in the Vercel Privacy Notice linked above.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the following rights:

• Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
• Erasure and restriction of processing (Articles 17 and 18 GDPR)
• Data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR)
• Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or alleged infringement. Our competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) in Ansbach, Germany.
